hey Rob! hahaha, no worries, i think i got what you were saying...

As a prolific writer yourself, I'm sure you know what it's like to re-read your work over and over again, to make sure that what you write doesn't only make sense in your head, but that readers who are not in your headspace would understand too, right?

i do that when i post, i want to make sure that it makes sense to everyone... and i took my time with this post, but honestly, the only one section that i didn't "carefully" word was the "i guess we've just come that much further" part... good job, you called me out on that one!

i actually wasn't meaning to relate the admiration i felt for my sister, my BFF, my aunt or my mom with the fact that we have come further as a gender (although, i do think my aunt personally contributed to our advancement, she did so much for women in islamic societies). the family plug in my post was purely a tangent! :)

Oprah for president, YEAH!

I didn't know that she is originally Persian till the time that in a press conference in US (United Nations building), when the former president of Iran (Khatami) was leaving the room and she didn't get the time to ask her question. Then she started shouting and asking her question in Persian and this made the Iranian president to come back and answer...

Interesting. I can see, since women have not been treated equally for millenia, why you would root for other women, especially awesome people like Oprah and Christianne. Hell, I'd love to see Oprah running for president. But I don't know about because you are rooting for your "sisters" that you've come further. Further would be to root for whoever deserves accolades and honors for doing well- whatever gender. That said, when women do well in a part of the world that tends to be male turf, it WOULD make sense to cheer them on for being women making it in a man's world. Geez. I feel like I'm tiptoeing between eggshells. Did a just pull a Richardson?
